Here is a named 8th Air Force Officer’s four pocket tunic to a Navigator 2nd Lieutenant Robert W Shoenberger of the 392nd Bomb Group 576th Bomb Squadron flying B24’s out of Wendling Norfolk.

The tunic is an Officer’s four pocket service jacket in very good overall condition no moth damage.
1. Bullion 2nd Lt rank to the shoulders (left side needs a stitch)
2. Bullion Navigator wing over sewn on medal ribbons for the DFC, Air Medal with three oak leaf clusters and the ETO medal with two campaign stars.
3. English made 8th Air Force Bullion patch to the right sleeve.
4. Army Air Corps patch to the left sleeve
5. Name tag in the collar as per image.

Lt Shoenberger completed 32 missions from 15th May 1944 until 30th August 1944 all are listed on the 392nd website. Included are copies of his missions, a crew photo and an individual photo.
