Here is a Texas ranger Badge made from a Mexican Peso coin with old type pin back fitting.

The Texas Ranger Division, commonly called the Texas Rangers, is a law enforcement agency with statewide jurisdiction in Texas, based in the capital city of Austin. Over the years, the Texas Rangers have investigated crimes ranging from murder to political corruption, acted in riot control and as detectives, protected the Governor of Texas, tracked down fugitives, and functioned as a paramilitary force at the service of both the Republic (1836–45) and the state of Texas.

WWII U.S. Airways Communications Patch

An original large size jacket patch at 5" x 4" embroidered on twill with a cheese cloth backing in near mint condition.

A unified command, centralized flight control, flexibility in the employment of tactical aircraft—all this and much more in the areas of combat operations depended upon an effective system of communications. So, too, did the movement of ferried and transport aircraft this then was the U.S. Air Corps Airways Communications Command.
