Royal Marines Beret Dated 1939

A Royal Marines Officers beret dated 1939 in a size 7 made by British Beret Basque Ltd.
In third condition with light age and wear. Good period example. With WD markings as detailed in the images.
Color and Material: Made from dark navy blue wool. (Royal Marine Commandos later adopted the green beret as the war progressed, but early patterns were dark blue).
